David has been running and raising money for 18 consecutive years now for the Barr Program in Innovative Cancer Research of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. The cause is near and dear to David and the rest of the Barnett's, as their brother Jack and father Phil have battled with the disease.
David has been an inspiration to the whole family, having raised over $203,000 for the cause with his son Jake and daughter Marie, who have also ran alongside him over the years.
